What We Do

Carr Communications constantly evolves in response to customer need. In 2006, for example, responding to a growing requirement from police forces, security companies and Human Resource Managers, the company developed a powerfully-effective course on Detection of Deception.

This is part of a distinctive pattern: customers define the direction taken by Carr Communications:

  • Customers require high quality training, corporate, promotional and Demo-tape DVDs, so our Media & Communications Unit was created to generate those DVDs to the highest standards. And we’ve designed and built TV and Radio studios into our new offices to produce them.
  • Customers require communications consultancy which goes beyond traditional media relations services, so Carr Communications is regularly retained to work alongside PR agencies to develop approaches to reputation management, and manage crises.
  • Customers require training ranging from Listening Skills to Crystal English to use of PowerPoint, so Carr Communications has designed the most comprehensive training programme available.
  • Customers require Career Planning consultation services and programmes for all stages of their careers. To meet this need Carr Communications’ Career Development Services Unit was set up to help you evaluate, plan and prepare yourself for your next move. Our services include CV/Application Form filling, Job Interview Preparation, Presentations at an Interview and preparation for Assessment and Development Centres.
  • In the last decade, globalisation of trade has led to increasing demand for up-to-date business skills at every management level in Irish-based organisations. Carr Communications’ Management & Business Training Unit developed training programmes in Performance Management Development Systems and Management Development programmes for large organisations with more than 500 employees.
