Sinéad is an award-winning Account Director in Carr Communications, specialising in media training, media relations and video marketing.
She joined the team in 2015, after working for more than a decade as a reporter and video journalist with some of Ireland’s biggest TV, radio and print media organisations including; TV3, Newstalk, Today FM, Sunday Times, UTV Ireland, Ocean FM, KFM and iRadio.
Sinéad has a proven track record devising and implementing successful communication strategies for clients, from SMEs to large corporate organisations and public sector bodies; ensuring they tell their stories better to media and their key audiences.
Her technical skills have proven hugely beneficial to clients; as she can produce high quality videos, podcasts, radio scripts and eye-catching press releases.
In 2016, a campaign she devised and implemented for the National Standards Authority of Ireland was named ‘Best Public Sector Campaign’ at the Excellence in Public Relations Awards.
In 2008, she travelled to Washington to report on President Barack Obama’s inauguration and developed "Obama FM" which was named Most Innovative Station Promotion, at the 2010 Radio Advertising Awards.
Sinéad has a deep understanding and knowledge of the Irish media landscape; how national and local newsrooms operate and an innate ability to recognise what makes a story newsworthy.
She has extensive media contacts and is a regular contributor to key current affairs and business programmes.
